Former defender and Tottenham Hotspur Club captain Jenna Schillaci spent 12 seasons at Spurs. Jenna grew up in a family of Spurs fans and so playing for Tottenham at the age of 16 was nothing short of amazing.
After spells at both, Queens Park Rangers and Enfield Town, she returned to Spurs for more than a decade. The center-back was a reliable figure at the heart of the Spurs’ defence as they worked their way up the women’s football pyramid, winning eight trophies along the way, including the quadruple during 2016/17.
A set-piece specialist, she started all but one of Spurs’ FA Women's Championship games in 2018/19, scoring two goals, and added a further five appearances in the Continental Tyres Cup, plus two in the FA Women’s Cup.
Jenna announced her retirement in the summer of 2020. She now splits her time between her role as the College Programme Head coach/Talent Pathway Admin at Spurs as well as her media commitments with BBC Sport & 5Live Extra Co comms, Chelsea TV Co comms, Sky, IMG UEFA Co comms, talkSPORT, Times Radio and Gravity Media
Jenna is also the founder and CEO of NEXT-JEN. NEXT-JEN aims to empower the next generation of female players through confidence building, giving them access into pro football world’s inside knowledge and by providing fun and educational online and in-person coaching sessions.
